OBAMA THE ELUSIVE

By Brian Akira

Sorry this jumps all over the place. In fact it’s very difficult to discover even the most basic facts about this potential president.

+ + +

In all his years at his “Black Values” church, Barack ibn Barack ibn Hussein Dunham-Davis-Soetero-Obama seems to have never heard that “The truth shall set you free.” The man seems to not even know the meaning of the word “Truth”.

Consider this amended “biography” from his official website:

Meet Barack

Barack [Hussein] Obama [Dunham (due to his parents' marital status)] was born in Hawaii on August 4th, 1961. [somewhere, sometime: he refuses to make his birth certificate public [see "Hawaiian Law re Birth Certificates" below]; the only thing known for sure about his birth is that he was a bastard, according to American law, as his mother was one of his Muslim father’s concubines. He married Kezia (neé ?) in 1957, and had a son in 1958.] His father, Barack [ibn Hussein] Obama, was born and raised in a small village in Kenya, where he grew up herding goats [on his own estate. According to Philip Ochieng, one of Obama Sr's closest friend's, the Luoan Lothario was "imperious, cruel and given to boasting about his brain and his wealth." According to The Daily Mail: "Kezia and Barack Snr set up home in Jericho, a section of Nairobi created for government employees."] with his own father [Onyango Obama, 1870-1975, later Mzee Hussein Onyango Obama after converting to Islam], who was a domestic servant to the British. [He was a prominent and wealthy farmer, who had briefly worked as a cook in a missionary's home. I guess that missionary was "The British" of the preceding quote. Obama was disgusted to discover that his grandfather was in Obama's own words, an "Uncle Tom. Collaborator. House Nigger." He also served, voluntarily, with the British colonial army in India. For some reason, Obama is not proud of his black grandfather's military service.]

[His mother's] father worked on oil rigs during the Depression, and then signed up for World War II [six months] after Pearl Harbor, where he marched across Europe in Patton’s army.

His father…won a scholarship that allowed him to leave [his pregnant wife Kezia, and their young son, in] Kenya and pursue his dreams in America.

Barack’s father eventually [abandoned his Hawai'ian concubine, Stanley Dunham, and their infant bastard Barry Dunham, and] returned to Kenya [with his secret third wife Ruth Nidesand (Also called Ruth Ndesandjo, mother of Mark Ndesandjo, who resides in China, and who Obama insulted in his book Dreams from My Father, for being a race-traitor and for abandoning Kenya. See "Obama on his Brother's Race-betrayal," below.). In Kenya his communist leanings became more prominent, which brought him into conflict with the socialist government; had two sons with his second concubine and two more children with his despised African wife; became a drunk, crashed many times, and had his legs amputated; was "divorced" by Ruth after years of lies and beatings; hit rock bottom and was forced and return to his lowly African wife; and died in poverty, leaving at least eight orphans], and Barack grew up with his mother in Hawaii, and for a few [five] years in Indonesia. [This is where his Hawai'ian-resident Buddhist sister Maya Kassandra Soetoro-Ng was born to their Muslim Indonesian father. His mother abandoned "Obama" (or "O'Bomber", as he called himself at high school) when he was 16, and returned to Indonesia. Dunham-Soetoro worked in Indonesian rural development with U.S.A.I.D., the Ford Foundation, and Women’s World Banking; and worked on something in Pakistan. In spite of her deep commitment to sharing the sufferings of the poor brown folk, she returned to the United States to die. Obama, as he is generally known today, would have liked to have been with her, but he had other things to do. Obama remembered to use her death in a campaign ad though: "“My mother died of cancer at 53. In those last painful months, she was more worried about paying her medical bills than getting well.”

While his mother was helping the poor brown folk in Indonesia, Barry was gettin' high and, as he would later write in his autobiography, learning how to be black. At his private high school he hung around with all the other stoners, called the Choom Gang, the Chooms. Then off to college for young Barry, soon to be Barack when he discover his Arab consciousness.

“To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist Professors and the structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets. We smoked cigarettes and wore leather jackets. At night, in the dorms, we discussed neocolonialism, Franz Fanon [Sic. Frantz Ibrahim Fanon, the philosopher par excellence of Black and Arab nationalist terrorism, and member of Le Front de Libération Nationale and El Moudjahid ( مجاهدين‎, The Mujahideen, Jihadis, "Holy Warriors"‎); Fanon: "Whoever says rape says Negro."], Eurocentrism, and patriarchy. When we ground out our cigarettes in the hallway carpet or set our stereos so loud that the walls began to shake,we were resisting bourgeois society’s stifling constraints. We weren’t indifferent or careless or insecure. We were alienated.”

– Barack Obama, Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance, pp. 100-101]

[He] moved to Chicago in 1985, where he became a community organizer with [admitted terrorist, Pentagon-bomber, and al-Qaeda-supporter, Comrade Bill Ayers; with Michael "America Is The Greatest Sin Against God" Pfleger; and with Jeremiah "God DAMN America" Wright in] a church-based group seeking to improve living conditions in poor neighborhoods plagued with crime and high unemployment. [As he himself notes, crime and drug-use increased, and living standards declined.]

His advocacy work led him to run for the Illinois State Senate, where he served for eight years [doing nothing. See "All Obama-sponsored legislation passed in the Illinois Senate" below].

Amid the partisanship and bickering of today’s public debate, he still believes in the ability to unite people around a politics of purpose – a politics that puts solving the challenges of everyday Americans ahead of partisan calculation and political gain [even though he has a 100% liberal voting record, a National Abortion Right Action League approval rating of 100%, and is the most liberal legislator in the Senate].

What does his “church-based group” believe in?

“We are an African people, and remain “true to our native land” … The Pastor as well as the membership of Trinity United Church of Christ is committed to … A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA.”

This “church” doesn’t draw any firm distinction between Islam and Christ, and sees Jesus as a Black Palestinian committed to the overthrow of imperialist domination.

His wife, Michelle, who was ashamed of the United States of America until Barack ran for president, has even stronger racist and apartheid beliefs, and has sworn to always hold her black people above all others, as she wrote in her a sociology thesis of 1985 [PDF], written under the direction of Professor Walter L. Wallace:

“As a member of the black community, I am obligated to this community and will utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit the black community first and foremost.”

Obama claims:

“My father was from Kenya and a lot of people in his village were Muslim. He didn’t practice Islam. Truth is he wasn’t very religious. He met my mother. My mother was a Christian from Kansas, and they married and then divorced. I was raised by my mother. So, I’ve always been a Christian. The only connection I’ve had to Islam is that my grandfather on my father’s side came from that country. But I’ve never practiced Islam. For a while, I lived in Indonesia because my mother was teaching there. And that’s a Muslim country. And I went to school. But I didn’t practice.”

This paragraph has more lies and distortions than truth.

His father lived in a village that was Muslim? What does that mean? His father was a Muslim. He had a Muslim marriage, three or four “wives”, and a Muslim funeral. Obama must really think that people are stupid. “The only connection I’ve had to Islam is that my grandfather on my father’s side came from that country.” What on earth does “from that country” mean? Does he mean the nation of Islam? Kenya? Kenya is mostly Christian. His grandfather was a Christian, who then as an adult rejected Christ in favour of Mohammad. He wasn’t just a Muslim because he was from a “Muslim village.” I get annoyed when people blatantly lie to me. And it’s another lie to say that his grandfather was his only connection to Islam, when his step-father (whom he was closer to and lived with longer than his real father) was a Muslim. Such nonsense this man spouts.

In an interview with Nicholas Kristoff on Feb. 27, 2007 (Published in The New York Times, March 6, 2007),

“Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer [the Muslim Call to Prayer; the Adhan], reciting them with a first-rate accent. Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”

Allah is Great. Allah is Great.
Allah is Great. Allah is Great.
I bear witness that there is no god except Allah.
I bear witness that there is no god except Allah.
I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.
I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.
Make haste towards prayer. Make haste towards prayer.
Make haste towards welfare. Make haste towards welfare
Allah is Most Great. Allah is Most Great.
There is none worthy of being worshipped except Allah.

Obama is uncertain that his parents ever actually married. Surely this would have been recorded on his birth certificate. If they were “married” then his father was a criminal. “How and when the marriage occurred remains a bit murky, a bill of particulars that I have never quite had the courage to explore,” Obama writes in his ficticious memoir, Dreams from My Father, which contains “composite” characters and changed names, as Obama confesses in the introduction.

“Except for public figures and his family, it is impossible to know who is real and who is not,” the Chicago Sun-Times‘ Lynn Sweet has pointed out.

Obama, 2002:

“My grandfather signed up for a war the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed [A LIE], fought in Patton’s army [A LIE]. He saw the dead and dying across the fields of Europe; he heard the stories of fellow troops who first entered Auschwitz and Treblinka. He fought in the name of a larger freedom, part of that arsenal of democracy that triumphed over evil, and he did not fight in vain [i.e. he did not fight].

From his autobiography, “Dreams of My Father”:

“Gramps returned from the war never having seen real combat.”

Army records show that Stanley Armour Dunham signed up on June 18, 1942, six months after Pearl Harbor.

Obama has said that his mother provided his greatest moral education. In spite of this, he has acted as if he has disowned her Marxism and has rejected her disdain for marriage. (“She always felt that marriage as an institution was not particularly essential or important,” said Nina Nayar…a close friend of Ms. Soetoro.). Obama writes that when his mother abandoned him in order to help the poor brown people of Indonesia in the way that only a PhD’d white woman can, “I was trying to raise myself to be a black man in America.” He has also rejected his mother’s agnosticism in favour of Black Jesus:

In their house, the Bible, the Koran, and the Bhagavad-Gita shared shelf space with books on mythology. His mother viewed them all through the eyes of the anthropologist she was. Religion for her was “just one of the many ways – and not necessarily the best way – that man attempted to control the unknowable and understand the deeper truths about our lives,” Obama wrote in “The Audacity of Hope,” published in 2006.

According to his mother’s close friend, Julia Suryakusuma, Obama’s mother Stanley “was interested in religions but didn’t follow one. She was a free-thinker.”

Suryaskusuma also claims that his mother was ashamed of being white: “You know Ann was really, really white, even though she told me she had some Cherokee blood in her. I think she just loved people of a different skin colour, brown people.” According to Obama, a distant ancestor was a “full-blooded Cherokee.” (Perhaps in this we can detect his life-long regret that he himself is not “a full-blooded Negro”?)

What is known about his step-father Lolo is that he was a foreign student who brought the Soetoros (Lolo, Stanley and Barry) to Indonesia in 1967 under orders from the dictator Suharto. Lolo was a Muslim. He became a government relations consultant for a US oil company. Apparently he behaved differently in his native land than he had in the U.S. “He changed when he came back to Indonesia,” Suryakusuma recalled. “Men can be a certain way when they are in the West and when they come back they are sucked into their own culture.”

Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths,” Obama recalled. “He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share.” “It was to Lolo that I turned to for guidance and instruction.”

In Dreams from My Father, Obama mentions a growing estrangement between his mother and stepfather as Lolo became closer to the ruling elite. He expected his wife to breed and brood more, while she became more committed to helping poor downtrodden brown-skinned strangers.

Stanley Soetoro [Obama's mother] helping the poor brown folks.

Obama claims that his parents were “forced” to separate because his father couldn’t afford to bring him and his mother with him to Boston. Besides the fact that Obama Sr should have been in jail for bigamy, or could have taken his new “family” back to Kenya with him, he could also have attended the New School for Social Research in New York City with a full scholarship that would have supported both him and his family, but instead preferred to attend the more prestigious Harvard, from which he received an M.A. [pdyer@fas.harvard.edu: "We do have a record that indicates a person by the name of Barack Hussein Obama graduated from Harvard University with an MA degree in Economics in 1965. - Pat Dyer Supervisor of Information Services FAS Registrar's Office Harvard University.]

Obama’s mother, Stanley Dunham-Soetoro, was apparently quite happy to be Obama Sr’s concubine:

Barack Sr, a Muslim, would go on to marry [?] two more women: Barack Jr’s mother Stanley Dunham — an American he met during a scholarship to the United States — and an American teacher called Ruth. But it was Kezia who remained his one true love and to whom he always returned. Strangely, Kezia and Stanley became great friends, writing to each other often.

According to The Muslim Observer, Obama’s father had at least one other child, George, towards the end of his life, with a young Kenyan woman.

According to Obama, in Dreams from My Father, his paternal grandfather was distressed about the family being polluted by white blood. He, “didn’t want the Obama blood sullied by a white woman”.

Obama claimed that his parents gave him an “African” name out of Afrocentric pride. Both Barack and Hussein are Arabic names.

DNC speech, 2004:

“My parents shared not only an improbable love, they shared an abiding faith in the possibilities of this nation. They would give me an African name.”

His father had “an abiding faith” in the USA? Really?

His father’s family appear to either have no interest in his mother’s family (not even knowing their name) or expressing contempt:

According to the family, Obama’s father travelled to America to study at the University of Hawaii in 1959. While there, he worked for an oil company and married his second wife, a white woman, named Anna Toot, and their union produced Barack Obama Jr. …The [illegitimate] marriage later broke up after Anna’s father opposed it, according to Mama Sarah.” [Sarah Ogwel, Obama's grandfather's second concubine.] Anna’s father was furious about the marriage and threatened to have Obama Snr expelled from the university. Our son sent us letters, pleading that we intervene to save the [illegitimate] marriage,” remembers Sarah.

They hope to benefit from Obama’s American success:

Some of the people of Alego believe Obama’s rising fortunes will translate into increased employment opportunities, better roads and education opportunities. A few are even optimistic that even the dusty Nyang’oma-Kogello market will be upgraded to a big town, complete with an airstrip.

“We don’t expect a whole Senator to drive to his home village. We expect him to fly direct and land at Nyang’oma,” says George Onyango, a 20-year-old barber.

The prospective Senator’s sister-in-law Fauziah Anyango, wife to his step-brother Malik Obama, told the Sunday Nation that she was eager to meet her heroic in-law.

Said she: “I have not met him but I pray that he wins the Senate seat. His victory will not be for us, but for Kenya and Africa.”

Besides providing a moral example of how destructive Polygamy, Islam, Pride, Communism, and Addiction are, I couldn’t really care about Obama’s families. However, when he keeps lying and obfuscating about them all, and when he tries to use his fake biography for political benefit, people should really try to discover the truth about things.

Obama & Socialist Politics

In 1996, Obama was endorsed by the Marxist “Democratic Socialists of America’s New Party”:

The New Party was formed in Chicago by the Democrat Socialists of America, in 1992, to serve as a central coordinating body for various Socialist Party activities in the region. It survived until 2000, when it disintegrated in part because of a Supreme Court decision that ruled the organization’s platform was unconstitutional.

The above documents were uncovered by a variety of internet publications including Politically Drunk on PowerAmerican ThinkerJawa ReportClinton DemsNo QuarterNewsBusters and Libertarian Republican.

They are taken from web pages that had been scrubbed from the New Party’s website after having been archived by the non-profit Internet Archive Organization, and prove beyond a doubt that Obama was party member.

“Winners! NP-endorsed candidates Patricia Martin (far left), Danny Davis (center), and Barack Obama (far right), celebrate with Chicago New Party members Ted Thomas and Ruth Schools after their victories in the Democratic primary last month.”

  • Barack Obama attended and participated in meetings of the Chicago New Party and the Chicago DSA, the local affiliate of the Democratic Socialists of America.
  • Barack Obama sought the endorsement of the Chicago DSA which required rigorous scrutiny by the party’s Political Committee as well as Mr. Obama’s signature on a contract promising “a visible and active relationship with the NP.”
  • Barack Obama actively used his endorsement from the Chicago DSA.
  • Barack Obama won his DSA-endorsed and -backed campaign to secure his seat in the Illinois State Senate.
  • Barack Obama continued his involvement with the Chicago DSA — including directly asking the group to join “his task forces on Voter Education and Voter Registration” — and received their endorsements in subsequent campaigns.
  • According to the write-up on the July 1995 meeting of Chicago DSA and New Party membership, Barack Obama was one of about 50 people attending out of their then-300 member local group. Other documents below will demonstrate Barack Obama attended and participated in subsequent meetings. The New Party rigorously evaluated its candidate endorsements and claimed “a winning ratio of 77 of 110 elections.” This was no passive endorsement.
  • Candidates must be approved via a NP political committee. Once approved, candidates must sign a contract with the NP. The contract mandates that they must have a visible and active relationship with the NP.—New Ground
  • Candidate Barack Obama participated as a panelist at the DSA-sponsored Town Meeting on February 25, 1996, entitled “Employment and Survival in Urban America”. As reported in New Ground: “Barack Obama observed that Martin Luther King’s March on Washington in the 1960s wasn’t simply about civil rights but demanded jobs as well. Now the issue is again coming to the front, but he wished the issue was on the Democratic agenda not just on Buchanan’s.”
  • One of the themes that has emerged in Barack Obama’s campaign is “what does it take to create productive communities”, not just consumptive communities. It is an issue that joins some of the best instincts of the conservatives with the better instincts of the left. He felt the state government has three constructive roles to play: The first is “human capital development”. By this he meant public education, welfare reform, and a “workforce preparation strategy”. Public education requires equality in funding. It’s not that money is the only solution to public education’s problems but it’s a start toward a solution. The current proposals for welfare reform are intended to eliminate welfare but it’s also true that the status quo is not tenable. A true welfare system would provide for medical care, child care and job training. While Barack Obama did not use this term, it sounded very much like the “social wage” approach used by many social democratic labor parties. By “workforce preparation strategy”, Barack Obama simply meant a coordinated, purposeful program of job training instead of the ad hoc, fragmented approach used by the State of Illinois today.
  • The state government can also play a role in redistribution, the allocation of wages and jobs. As Barack Obama noted, when someone gets paid $10 million to eliminate 4,000 jobs, the voters in his district know this is an issue of power not economics. The government can use as tools labor law reform, public works and contracts.
  • Obama subsequently secured his endorsement from the Chicago DSA
  • The local Democratic Socialists of America affiliate issued their Chicago DSA Endorsements in the March 19th Primary Election:

Barack Obama is running to gain the Democratic ballot line for Illinois Senate 13th District. The 13th District is Alice Palmer’s old district, encompassing parts of Hyde Park and South Shore.

Mr. Obama graduated from Columbia University and promptly went into community organizing for the Developing Communities Project in Roseland and Altgeld Gardens on the far south side of Chicago. He went on to Harvard University, where he was editor of the Harvard Law Review. He graduated with a law degree. In 1992, he was Director of Illinois Project Vote, a voter registration campaign that made Carol Moseley Braun’s election to the U.S. Senate much easier than it would have been. At present, he practices law in Judson Miner’s law firm and is President of the board of the Annenberg Challenge Grant which is distributing some $50 million in grants to public school reform efforts.

What best characterizes Barack Obama is a quote from an article in Illinois Issues, a retrospective look at his experience as a community organizer while he was completing his degree at Harvard:

“… community organizations and organizers are hampered by their own dogmas about the style and substance of organizing. Most practice … a ‘consumer advocacy’ approach, with a focus on wrestling services and resources from outside powers that be. Few are thinking of harnessing the internal productive capacities, both in terms of money and people, that already exist in communities.” (Illinois issues, September, 1988)

Luckily, Mr. Obama does not have any opposition in the primary. His opponents have all dropped out or were ruled off the ballot.

  • Barack Obama Continued Attending Membership Meetings of the Chicago DSA New Party.
  • Obama attended membership meeting on April 11, 1996 where he expressed his gratitude for their support. The report shared that “Barack Obama, victor in the 13th State Senate District, encouraged NPers to join in his task forces on Voter Education and Voter Registration.”
  • Obama won his election with the help of the Chicago DSA’s New Party.
  • Chicago DSA notes in 1998 that Barack Obama eulogized Saul Mendelson, co-founder of the Debs Dinner.
  • In the fall of 1998, Chicago DSA’s New Ground’s editor offered nomination of Barack Obama for reelection.
  • When Barack Obama challenged Bobby Rush for the 1st Congressional District in 2000, the Chicago DSA opted to recommend both:

For Congressman of the 1st Congressional District, the Executive Committee was faced with two very good candidates. As we are not making endorsements but merely recommendations, we felt no conflict in recommending both Bobby Rush and Barack Obama.

Bobby Rush was the incumbent Congressman. He was also a candidate for Mayor of Chicago in the last municipal elections, endorsed by Chicago DSA. While he hasn’t always been the ideal Congressman from a left perspective (being a cosponsor of the “NAFTA for Africa” bill, for example), he’s generally been quite good. To volunteer, call 773 264 7874. Contributions may be made to Citizens for Rush, 514 E. 95th St., Chicago, IL 60619.

Barak Obama is serving only his second term in the Illinois State Senate so he might be fairly charged with ambition, but the same might have be said of Bobby Rush when he ran against Congressman Charles Hayes. Obama also has put in time at the grass roots, working for five years as a community organizer in Harlem and in Chicago. When Obama participated in a 1996 UofC YDS Townhall Meeting on Economic Insecurity, much of what he had to say was well within the mainstream of European social democracy.

Conclusion: Barack Obama has a long-term and sustained relationship with the Chicago DSA, an affiliate of the Democratic Socialists of America, and with the Chicago New Party. He participated in multiple membership meetings and in DSA-sponsored events, repeatedly sought their endorsement. This does not answer all questions about Barack Obama’s past relationships with multiple socialist groups.

Hawaiian Law re Birth Certificates:

Welcome to the Department of Health’s Online Vital Records Ordering System.

“Vital records (birth, death, marriage, and divorce certificates) for events that occurred in Hawaii are received and preserved by the Office of Health Status Monitoring, a unit of the Department of Health (DOH). In Hawaii, access to vital records is restricted by statute (HRS §338-18).”

Unless Obama is just embarrassed about the fact that he’s a bastard, and the likelihood that his parent’s engaged in matrimonial fraud, there are only three serious explanations for Obama’s bizarre insistence on keeping his birth certificate secret.

1. He engaged in fraud when obtaining some other form of ID.

2. His name is not officially Barack Hussein Obama.

3. He was part of a multiple birth.

Could it be that Obama’s twin is locked away in an attic somewhere?

When his father…died in 1982, “the family wanted a Muslim burial,” Obama quoted his brother, Roy, as saying in “Dreams.”

Obama’s grandfather…was fiercely devoted to Islam, according to an account in “Dreams.” The grandfather, who died in 1979, was described by his widow when Obama visited Kenya in the late 1980s.

“What your grandfather respected was strength. Discipline,” Obama quoted his grandmother as telling him. “This is also why he rejected the Christian religion, I think. For a brief time, he converted, and even changed his name to Johnson. But he could not understand such ideas as mercy towards your enemies, or that this man Jesus could wash away a man’s sins. To your grandfather, this was foolish sentiment, something to comfort women,” she added. “And so he converted to Islam — he thought its practices conformed more closely to his beliefs.”

Barack Obama: Putting faith out front

How the Illinois senator came to embrace religion in his life.

By Ariel Sabar, The Christian Science Monitor Online, July 16, 2007

On a recent Sunday, the magnetic pastor who led Barack Obama to Christianity was at his usual perch on the dais here, a South Side megachurch where a plaque beneath stained-glass depictions of the African-American struggle reads “Unashamedly Black, Unapologetically Christian.”

The Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., in a casual short-sleeve shirt, preached about Martha as a “single saint,” urging unmarried women to draw self-esteem from faith rather than men. He took blacks to task for what he said was their silence on domestic violence, homophobia, and the “illegal, untested, insane war in Iraq, started by a C-student draft dodger.”

And in honor of National HIV Testing Day, he alerted his flock to mouth-swab tests being offered in the church building after services. “You can get results in 20 minutes – free and confidential,” he said. Then he led more than a thousand worshipers, and a 200-member choir in traditional African dress, in a hymn to the Lord.

It was at Trinity United Church of Christ here, in the late 1980s, that Senator Obama says he found religion. Raised in a secular household, with ancestral roots running from Islam to Baptist to atheist, Obama had grown up a skeptic. But Mr. Wright’s blend of scripture and social action resonated with Obama, then a young community organizer in black neighborhoods ravaged by steel-mill closings.

And when Wright preached one Sunday about the sustaining power of hope in the face of poverty and despair, Obama says he found himself in tears.

“The questions I had did not magically disappear,” Obama wrote in his recent book, titled “The Audacity of Hope” after Wright’s turn of phrase, of the day four years later when he made a formal commitment of Christian faith. “But kneeling beneath that cross on the South Side of Chicago, I felt God’s spirit beckoning me. I submitted myself to His will, and dedicated myself to discovering His truth.”

More than the other Democratic candidates for president, Obama has made faith a centerpiece of his campaign.

He has warned the left against ceding the mantle of religion to the evangelical right. He speaks of the church as an abiding force in American public life, from the Boston Tea Party through the abolitionist and civil rights movements. He suffuses his speeches with biblical allusions – “I am my brother’s keeper” is a favorite phrase. And he has cast his generation of black leaders as modern-day Joshuas, after Moses’ successor, who led the Israelites to the Promised Land.

Many of Obama’s political views are “an outgrowth of his reading of some of the seminal parts of the Bible about doing unto the ‘least of these’ just as we would have done unto Christ,” says Joshua DuBois, the campaign’s director of religious affairs, paraphrasing verses in the book of Matthew. “He takes very seriously the numerous passages in the Bible that talk not only about poverty, but of people of faith taking God’s words and extending them beyond the four walls of the church.”

But as Obama promotes faith as a means of uniting a diverse America around a shared set of values, he has at times found himself in a political minefield. To the left are liberals uneasy with religious intrusions into politics; to the right, conservatives who have questioned his Christianity and denounced his ties to Wright’s Afrocentric church.

Obama’s childhood in Hawaii and Indonesia was a swirl of faiths and cultures. His father, a black Kenyan economist, was raised Muslim but was an atheist by the time Obama was born. His mother, a white Kansan, had Baptist and Methodist roots but viewed organized religion with a gimlet eye, wary of how often it cloaked intolerance.

“Jesus, she felt, was a wonderful example,” Obama’s half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, recalled in a phone interview. “But she felt that a lot of Christians behaved in un-Christian ways.”

After his mother was remarried, to an Indonesian Muslim, and the family moved to Indonesia, Obama went first to a Catholic academy and then a public Muslim school open to students of all beliefs.

But he was largely indifferent toward religion until he moved to Chicago in 1985 for a job organizing impoverished South Side residents in campaigns for better jobs, schools, and housing. As the recent college graduate went from church to church to enlist clergy in his causes, he heard an oft-repeated refrain: What church do you belong to?

“He really came here with a very strong passion about how can we change things, and he understood the churches as being a vehicle for doing that,” recalls the Rev. Michael Pfleger, pastor of the Saint Sabina Church, a Catholic church on the South Side, who has known Obama since his early days in Chicago. But he also “realized that with some churches there would be a credibility issue if he were organizing churches but didn’t have a home church.”

Trinity United Church of Christ occupies a tan brick building on West 95th Street across railroad tracks from a public housing project. Since becoming pastor in 1972, Wright grew its membership from a few dozen to more than 8,500. He wore African dashikis, planted a “Free South Africa” sign on the church lawn, and demanded tolerance of gays and lesbians, a maverick stance for a black church.

The church sprouted more than 70 ministries, from AIDS counseling and African cultural exchange to a “manhood” program providing father figures to children of single mothers. Oprah Winfrey and the singer Mavis Staples have worshiped there, as have people on welfare.

While other black megachurch leaders like Creflo Dollar and T.D. Jakes were preaching prosperity gospel, the idea that God rewards the faithful with financial success, Wright asked worshipers to endorse a “Black Value System.” One of its precepts is a disavowal of “middleclassness,” a selfish pursuit of money and status without giving back to the larger black community.

Wright also preached black liberation theology, an outgrowth of the civil rights era that sees the Bible, particularly the exodus from Egyptian slavery, as a parable of the struggle for black freedom.

However incongruously, Trinity became the largest congregation in The United Church of Christ, a predominantly white denomination known for its liberal politics and steepled churches in small New England towns. The UCC, or Congregational church, as it is also called, was the first mainline Protestant church to ordain an African-American (1785), a woman (1853), and an openly gay man (1972), and the first major Christian denomination to endorse same-sex marriage (2005).

[Of course the first African Christian was ordained almost 2000 years ago, so I'm not sure what the big deal is...]

Wright impressed Obama, and by 1988 the younger man found himself in the pews, listening to parishioners clap and cry out as Wright spoke of “the audacity of hope” in times of suffering, Obama writes in his bestselling 1995 memoir, “Dreams from My Father.” In Wright’s words that day, Obama glimpsed the deeper meaning he had been searching for in his work with the South Side’s poor, who often had little to go on but faith.

“In that single note – hope! – I heard something else,” Obama wrote. “At the foot of that cross, inside the thousands of churches across the city, I imagined the stories of ordinary black people merging with the stories of David and Goliath, Moses and Pharaoh, the Christians in the lion’s den, Ezekiel’s field of dry bones. Those stories – of survival, and freedom, and hope – became our story, my story.”

Four years later, after returning to Chicago from Harvard Law School, Obama joined Trinity and walked down the aisle in a formal commitment of faith. Wright later married Obama and his wife, Michelle, and blessed the births of their two children.

By his own admission, Obama’s conversion was “a choice and not an epiphany.” It owed as much to spiritual yearning as to a recognition of the power of the black church to change lives and society.

“What moved me was the role all the congregations I worked with played in the life of the people I was working with,” Obama said in an e-mail to the Monitor. “What touched me was how faith bolstered them against heartache and disappointment and kept them going.”

After law school, Obama returned to Chicago to register low-income voters for the 1992 presidential election. He worked as a civil rights lawyer and as a lecturer at University of Chicago Law School before his election to the Illinois state Senate in 1996.

From the moment he took the national stage, at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, Obama, then running for US Senate, made no secret of his spiritual bent. “We worship an awesome God in the blue states,” he said in a keynote address credited with launching his stardom.

But for a liberal Democrat and former constitutional law instructor, the plea for a broader public role for religion has at times required some fancy footwork.

He has called for both “a politics of conscience” based on ecumenical religious values and a clear line between church and state. He has both invoked God in his denunciations of the Iraq war and criticized President Bush for using religious terms like “good” and “evil” to justify it.

“The danger of using good versus evil in the context of war is it may lead us to be not as critical as we should be about our own actions,” he said at a candidates’ forum on religion last month, calling the torture of prisoners at Abu Ghraib and the treatment of suspected terrorists at the Guantánamo Bay prison camp “unjust.”

Obama and his advisers have said that his faith has motivated legislation meant to benefit the poor, the uninsured, and minorities. In the Illinois state Senate, Father Pfleger recalls, Obama sponsored measures to clamp down on high-interest “payday loans” in poor neighborhoods and to require Illinois police agencies to record the race of motorists they stop as part of a state effort to monitor racial profiling. He also pressed for a bill requiring police to videotape interrogations of murder suspects, as a safeguard against coerced confessions.

At a speech last month at the annual Hampton University Ministers’ Conference in Virginia, he offered his most detailed list to date of programs he said should spring from “our faith, the Word, and His will.” They range from a new service corps for disadvantaged youths and a program to have nurses teach low-income mothers good parenting to more jobs programs for ex-convicts and more venture capital for minority-owned businesses.

Elsewhere, he has preached a version of his church’s critique of black “middleclassness.” He told a crowd in Selma, Ala., in March that his generation of blacks should strive for more than just “some of that Oprah money.” [What? Obama doesn't want Oprah money?]

“Materialism alone will not fulfill the possibilities of your existence,” he said. “You have to fill it with the golden rule. You’ve got to fill it with thinking about others.”

Last year, he and Sen. Orrin Hatch, a Utah Republican, sponsored a successful bill to let people in bankruptcy continue to donate money to their places of worship.

Obama’s advisers say his open faith and personal narrative are political assets as churchgoers grow increasingly disillusioned with Mr. Bush. “The ultimate swing voters right now are moderate Catholic voters and moderate evangelical voters,” says Shaun Casey, professor of Christian ethics at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington and an Obama campaign adviser. “There are more opportunities for Democrats with them than there have been in about 20 years.”

In addition to Mr. DuBois, the campaign has faith-outreach workers on staff in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. It holds conference calls every week with religious leaders in the early primary states. And it has staged a half dozen “faith forums” in New Hampshire, where voters, local clergy, and campaign staff trade views on the proper role of faith in public life.

A Time magazine poll released Thursday found that more voters see Obama as a strongly religious person than they do every major presidential hopeful but Mitt Romney, the Republican former governor of Massachusetts whose Mormonism has drawn extensive news coverage.

But whether that public perception translates into votes, even among the 1.2 million members of Obama’s own denomination, has yet to be seen.

At the annual gathering for Iowa clergy of the United Church of Christ, which Obama addressed last month, the finance chair of a church outside Des Moines said he had thought Obama was Muslim.

Another church leader, pastor Al Hohl of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Sioux City, Iowa, said he hadn’t heard such candid talk of faith from a liberal since his days as a seminary student in the 1960s. He found it refreshing, but plans to vote for Bill Richardson, the New Mexico governor and Democratic presidential candidate, whom he views as more politically experienced.

But others there said Obama gave voice to deeply held yet seldom expressed convictions about a progressive role for organized religion. “It’s time we stand up to the conservatives,” said Barbara Brandt, a parish administrator at a UCC church in Reinbeck, Iowa. “We’re as Christian as they are.”

Obama’s mingling of faith and politics has drawn fire from some on both the left and the right.

“A war of Bible-quoting isn’t supposed to be going on during a campaign season,” says Barry Lynn, executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State. “Proof-testing the Bible to see if God is a liberal or a conservative or a uniter or a divider is not relevant.”

Some evangelical leaders have questioned how Obama can square his Christianity with support for abortion rights and same-sex civil unions. And conservatives have pummeled Wright for his Afrocentric beliefs, his equation of Zionism with racism, and his remarks on the 9/11 attacks. (”In the 21st century, white America got a wake-up call after 9/11/01,” Wright wrote in 2005 in a church-affiliated magazine. “White America and the Western world came to realize that people of color had not gone away, faded into the woodwork or just ‘disappeared’ as the Great White West kept on its merry way of ignoring Black concerns.”)

[Obama: "The White man's greed fuels a world in need!"]

The night before he announced his candidacy for president in February, Obama withdrew an invitation to Wright to give the public invocation, a decision that did not sit well with some other Chicago pastors. Pfleger said Obama told him that he didn’t want criticism of Wright to detract from the big day. “I told him I thought it was the wrong decision,” Pfleger said in an interview.

Jen Psaki, a spokeswoman for the campaign, said “the change was made in order to avoid having statements and beliefs being used out of context and forcing the entire church to defend itself.”

Wright remains Obama’s pastor and friend, she said, but they do not see eye to eye on every issue. Obama, she said, “strongly disagrees with any portrayal of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that advocates divestment from Israel or expresses anything less than strong support for Israel’s security.”

As for the church’s Black Value System, she said, Obama “believes its basic tenets of commitment to God, to community, to self-discipline and self-reliance continue to have applicability not only to the African-American community but to all people.”

Though Obama was an early and fervent critic of the war in Iraq, he has steered clear of his pastor’s sometimes inflammatory rhetoric. At a candidates’ forum on faith last month, Obama framed his opposition in more nuanced terms.

“I always remember Abraham Lincoln when, during the Civil War, he said, ‘We shouldn’t be asking whose side God is on, but whether we’re on His side,’ ” he said. “And I think that’s the question that all of us have to ask ourselves…. Are we advancing the causes of justice and freedom? Are we our brother’s keeper, our sister’s keeper? And that’s how I measure whether what we’re doing is right.”

Wright declined in an e-mail interview to answer questions about some of his contentious remarks. “I have given up trying to respond to conservatives who have done no study of liberation theology, black theology, or African-American history,” he wrote.

Obama’s message of faith and his ties to a controversial pastor have not been without pitfalls, analysts say.

But “the positives outweigh the negatives,” says Professor Dwight Hopkins of the University of Chicago Divinity School, who is a member of Trinity but not affiliated with the Obama campaign. “I think he is one of the biggest threats to the Republican Party and their campaign, because he has seized the religious discursive ground. No Democratic candidate since Jimmy Carter has been able to do that.”

Barack Obama on his Brother’s Race-Betrayal

Michael Sheridan, Shenzhen, China, The Sunday Times, July 27, 2008

Obama painted a disappointed picture of his half-brother in his 1995 memoir, Dreams from My Father, in which he celebrated his own return to Kenya and rediscovery of his African inheritance.

At a rather tense lunch, Obama quoted “Mark” – his family name is never given away in the book – as saying Kenya was “just another poor African country” to which he felt little attachment.

Mark added: “there’s not much work for a physicist, is there, in a country where the average person doesn’t have a telephone.”

According to Obama’s account, Mark looked him in the eye and said: “You think that somehow I’m cut off from my roots, that sort of thing. Well, you’re right.”

“At a certain point I made the decision not to think about who my real father was. He was dead to me even when he was still alive. I knew that he was a drunk and showed no concern for his wife and children. That’s enough.”

Barack Obama senior fathered eight children by four different women.

Obama wrote that Mark didn’t want to ask himself a lot of questions about the meaning of racial identity, dismissing the idea with the words: “life’s hard enough without all that excess baggage.”

Asked last week whether he was quoted accurately in the book, Ndesandjo did not respond.

Obama wrote that on parting, “we exchanged addresses and promised to write, with a dishonesty that made my heart ache.”

I’ve generally ignored America’s Last President since he was installed, but here’s an update:

Obama’s Jewish Brother’s New “Novel”

2009.11.04

Mark Okoth Obama Ndesandjo - Nairobi to Shenzhen A Novel of Love in the East

Mark Okoth Obama Ndesandjo, who is America’s last black president’s Jewish brother, who lives in Shenzen with his Chinese family, has just had his “autobiographical” novel, Nairobi to Shenzhen: A Novel of Love in the East, published. I suggest this “novel” might be called Dreams From My Father 2.

Ndesandjo’s novel is based around an “invented” (?) diary of the Shady One’s alleged father, Barack Obama, in which the elder Obama recounts his sexual adventures, rages and self-destructiveness. Mr Ndesanjo’s mother, Ruth, an American Jewess, was Obama Sr’s second (of three) concubines.

  • So cute, republicans have taken to making up complete lies since they have nothing.

I for one saluute your tireless propaganda. While it’s hitleresq in stature, it is impressive you don’t find need to kill yousefl for crimes against humanity. What a heart of stone.

  • Lies?

    Where?

    Examples?

And why would you assume I’m a republican, or even a Republican?

“Hitleresq”? I’m planning on invading Poland tomorrow. Then Iowa.

  • I spent time trying to understand more about the reality of Obama…

    I read a lot…

But I found your writings more accurate and to the point…

I was aware that the family was hiding things…

What concerns me is that his grandmother is into witchcraft… and if he become president of the USA she would be allowed to do the witchcraft in the USA White House… for she is doing it now… and evangelist was there and found out… it is real…

I fully believe that Mr. Obama has an agenda that is from the Muslim world and he is a very mixed up person…

I hope he truly finds God some day… in a real way and stops telling exagerated lies… or starts telling the whole truth… about matters.

I think America could have handled him if he was honest and was a true Christian… and really did read and obey God’s Holy Scriptures…

Instead I think he buffaloed his way and now the Americans are concerned… will they have a Muslim president and what horrors will occur to the USA… this man cannot run a country, he does not have what it takes… that is not a put down, it is the sad truth…

I do think one day soon a black man who can run the USA will be president of the USA, but Obama is not the man.

He has to many inner issues that are not dealt with yet, he is acting out a part… but he is a man who frankly inside is a mess… and to be president of the USA at a time like this we need a person who truly knows God and can handle the pressure of being a leader over a nation like America.

I pray and fast for Obama… as much as I can remember to… for salvation and to make it in this life and go be with God when he dies…

Personally speaking, I think his family needs deliverance… and real salvation in Jesus Christ.

Be blessed in our Lord Jesus, and thank you for putting a basic article together, but I would not put the God d America… in there… that is not my style… even in quoting…

  • Well, Rose, I understand your point-of-view about that quote, but I personally have no problem quoting what people have said, no matter how bad it is. Besides, too often people don’t have to face ugly reality because it is sanitized in the media. I think that quote in all its blasphemy (from a so-called “Man of God”) and vulgarity really shows the kind of low-lifes Obama surrounded himself with for decades.

I must say this is nothing short of FABULOUS!
Where’s a true investigative journalist when we need one?
    Right here.
    Thank you.

  • Philip,

    Thanks for noticing.

Let’s see … reporters rush to Alaska and discover that Sarah Palin’s husband drove drunk two decades ago … this fuels a massive and toxic propaganda attack on Palin, claiming that it makes her unsuitable for office.

Joe Wurtzelbach looked out his window one day, and saw The ONE a passing by, touching those who believed on him and healing their souls, and answering tough questions like, “What’s your favorite cookie?” So “Joe the Plumber” walked out into the light of day and had the nerve to ask the Obamessiah a simple question about the economy. Within hours, Joe’s tax records were front page news.

Oh yes, you have entered the O-Zone.

How many reporters have investigated the extent of Obama’s crack use? How many reports have you read about when he actually stopped using coke? Has anyone even asked him? It’s well-known that crack-addicts steal and/or deal and/or turn tricks to pay for their habits. Does anyone care?

Was he using crack, or any other drug while he was in public office in Illinois? Has anyone asked him to name his coconspirators in his illegal drug trades?

No, that’s all just so … well, it’s not important in something as insignificant as a presidential campaign. And besides, reporters are too busy “investigating” the possibility that Palin gave birth to her own grandson. They’re busy questioning genetic experts on the chances that her own baby could be “retarded” due to his mother age. Opinion writers are exploring the depths of her selfishness in not killing him. Who has time to report that in 1996 Obama was a member of a political party that called itself “Socialist”? Who cares?

They can go to Alaska and offer big bucks to anyone with the slightest bit of dirt on the vice-presidential candidate, but can’t figure out how to get to Hawai’i (Who on Earth wants to go to Hawai’i? Do they even have flights there?) to just pop into the hospital Obama claims he was born at and figure out what’s the discrepancy between Obama’s account, his sister’s, and his grandmother, who claims she was present at his birth in Kenya. Probably just some senile old woman. … I guess we’ll never know.

Why has Obama’s former associate Larry Sinclair been wandering around the country for more than a year stating that he and Obama had sex in a car and a hotel room in the midst of a coke binge in 1999, with no fear of being sued for slander, and with ZERO interest from the mainstream media?

Is it even conceivable that a person making the same explicit claims about McCain or Palin would be able to appear in public without getting mobbed by rabid papparazzi?

  • Dear Barry,

Could you please tell me, in what way am I “sick”?

In what way do I — following your grammatical and syntactical example — bigot? And how does one bigot?

Or is it that in your vocabulary “sick bigot” = “a person who states facts that one would prefer not to have stated”?

I look forward to your providing some concrete evidence of my alleged sickness and bigotry.

  • That’s exactly my point. You don’t realise the depth of your sickness.

  • Barry you appear to be a person of extremely limited mental capacity, you who would probably vote for Obama because of his skin color project and attribute your sickness onto others

  • Barry,

Are you by any chance Barry Hussein-that-dare-not-speak-his-name Dunham-Davis-Soetero, a.k.a. Obama?

  • Bob,

That’s all they can say. “Lies!” “Sick!” Bigot!”

If you ask for examples, they twitter, “Well, if you don’t know then I’m not telling you! Nyaa, nyaa, nya-nya, nyahhhh~~~”

  • Akira, thanks for your post. I am overwhelmed by the amount of information here, as you have done the job of several fleets of newsroom types.

I have trouble telling where one post ends and another begins. Or was this all one post? Your information is strong, your positions/conclusions are usually clear… keep working on your formatting and style. Try smaller posts dealing with specific issues (one post on lineage, one post on the birth certificate issue, one post on growing up, etc), this is practically a biography! Great job.

  • This article is so not true about Barack Obama. Being christian is not about bashing hard working people, but unconditionally loving them for their sincereity in wanting world peace and respecting all nations and beliefs. This website is a far cry from that and is very disturbing. You should be ashamed of yourselves!

  • Linda,

Re: “This article is so not true about Barack Obama.”

Do you have even one example of an untruth here, or are you yet another person who just slanders somebody and then runs away?

Re: “Being christian [sic] is not about bashing hard working people, but unconditionally loving them for their sincereity in wanting world peace and respecting all nations and beliefs.”

Since you yourself are not a Christian, I’m curious about where you got this impression of Christian teachings from.

Being Christian is certainly about “bashing” hard-working Satanists etc, if by “bashing” you mean pointing out errors, combatting evil etc.

You’ve seriously confused me, with your atrocious syntax. Who is this that you’re talking about who apparently wants world peace?

Are you seriously saying that Christians are expected to respect cannibalism, pedophilia, Nazi Germany, the slave state of Kimilsunkimjongil-guk, or the infanticidal Barack Hussein Obama?

I guess you are offended by Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, The Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the origin of God’s creation:

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were cold or hot. But because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.”

“Amen, all human sins will be forgiven, and all the blasphemies ever uttered; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin.”

Muslims claim that The Pedophile Mohammad is the Paraclete — the Holy Spirit. Would that at least not count as blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? Would that not be an eternal sin which will not be forgiven. Has Jesus Christ then “insulted” Muslims?

Are you insulted that the Alpha & Omega says that only He is the Light, the Way, the Truth?

Have you read the Holy Bible?

Have you read how the Israelites were punished for their blasphemies and idolatry?

Have you heard of the Golden Calf? Baal? Sodom? Gomorrah?

Please — unless you have something constructive to say here, and some example of this alleged religion-insulting — go away and don’t pollute my weblog with your blasphemies.

    St John, the Beloved Disciple:

“The one believing in him is not judged, but whoever does not believe has already been judged, because he has not believed in the Name of the only-begotten Son of God. This is the judgment: that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone who practices evil hates the light and does not come to the light, for fear that his works would be exposed. But whoever practices the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be revealed as done in God.”

St John, the Baptist, to the Pharisees and Sadducees:

“You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore, bring forth fruit worthy of repentance! Do not think that you can say to yourselves: ‘We have Abraham as our father!’ For I tell you that from these stones, God is able to raise up children to Abraham! Even now the axe lies at the root of the trees! Therefore, every tree that does not produce good fruit is to be cut down and cast into the fire. I indeed baptize you in water for repentance, but he who comes after me is more powerful than I, and I am not worthy to carry his sandals! He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will thoroughly clear his threshing floor. He will gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff, he will burn up with unquenchable fire!”

Jesus Christ, to the Pharisees and Sadducees:

“I tell you in truth, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came all over the land. Elijah was sent to none of them, except to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. There were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed, except Naaman, the Syrian.”

    Jesus Christ:

“Whoever is not with me is against me! Whoever does not gather with me scatters! Therefore, I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, neither in this age, nor in the one which is to come.

“Make the tree good and its fruit will be good, or make the tree corrupt and its fruit corrupt, for the tree is known by its fruit. You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? Indeed, words flow out of what fills the heart. The good man brings out good things out of his good treasure, and the evil man brings out evil things out of his evil treasure. I tell you that for every idle word that people speak, they will give an account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

  • you failed. haters never prosper.

  • “Your Mom”

If haters never prosper, then how do you explain the [temporary, at least] success of Ayers, Mansour, Wright, Khalidi, Marshall etc. in finally getting their boy elected to the presidency of the U.S.

Oh, I get it, you mean these haters have only won a battle, but must inevitably lose the war.

You’re right. Now that he’s president, the truth about him will finally be properly revealed — especially when the media and his voters turn on him after realizing that his election has not in fact changed the world.

    I’m happy.

Maybe I can write a book about him now!

  • This is a long tirade of hateful and twisted research. How long did it take you to delve and interpret all that you have found and compose such a henous venom filled report. Think of all you might have accomplished with your time spent in a positive loving endeavor. So sad…

  • You’re exactly the kind of person we need to get rid of. You’re an ignoramus easily fooled by the media that was just biased against Obama cause he’s a ‘nigger’. If Barack Obama were not black, people wouldn’t question his past and abilities as they do. I didn’t see any news reports on Sarah Palin and John McCain. He divorced his first wife, and they had children. She gave birth to a kid that would be better off aborted. Why don’t you write about that? McCain was dating Cindy Helmsley before his divorce was finalized. That’s not very American or family value- oriented to me. Barack Obama is a smart man who holds a great deal of promise. He’s a brilliant man who is the embodiment of the American dream. For so many Americans, he represents change and a promise of a better tomorrow. Why would you want to make anyone question their faith in him? You’re a sick individual. I hope you can come to terms with the extent of your mental inabilities. His victory was decisive. No democrat has had such a showing in the popular vote since LBJ in 1964. That’s 44 years ago. Even Bill Clinton, everyone’s hero didn’t get 50% of the popular vote. When the people of America give someone 52% of their votes, they’re clearly saying something. They’re tired of the WASP president who grew up in the country club. That’s the beauty of America, it’s truly free. No one will stop you from leaving of your own volition. I advise you to pack your bags as quickly as you can before the ‘nigger’ starts his term. Don’t go to Canada though. It’s rather liberal. Try Eastern Europe. They’ll accept a nigger-hater like you with open arms. Good riddance! Hope you have fun elsewhere while Obama takes this country in a new direction!

  • Dear “iknow” and “Palooza”

God bless the both of you.

Considering that your messiah won the election, I’m not sure why you’re so angry and upset.

Perhaps it’s because it just hit you that it’s easier to criticize and bitch and moan than it is to actually rule.

Anyway, I notice that neither of you geniuses could point to a single thing I’ve written that is inaccurate. Just like every other critic here. You’re obviously just offended by the truth. I realize it can be painful to discover that one’s demi-God is less than divine.

Let me deal with your separate points. (The ones that are relevant at least.)

Re: “You’re exactly the kind of person we need to get rid of.”

    - Reaching out? Tolerant?

Re: “…the media that was just biased against Obama cause he’s a ‘nigger’.”

    - The media that was cheerleading for him? Or are you just reading KKK journals? I guess so, judging by your vocabulary.

Re: “If Barack Obama were not black, people wouldn’t question his past and abilities as they do.”

    - Absolutely on the contrary. For example: He’s a crack addict, but people just excuse it because “well … he’s black.” [I know, you prefer another term.]

Re: “I didn’t see any news reports on Sarah Palin and John McCain.”

    - It must be tough to go through life blind. My sympathies to you.

Re: “She gave birth to a kid that would be better off aborted. Why don’t you write about that?”

    - You’re sick.

Re: “McCain was dating Cindy Helmsley before his divorce was finalized. That’s not very American or family value- oriented to me.”

    - Fascinating. Perhaps he lusted in his heart too…

Re: “Barack Obama is a smart man”

    - Evidence?

Re: “Why would you want to make anyone question their faith in him?”

    - I’m sorry if facts contradict your religious belief.

Re: “I hope you can come to terms with the extent of your mental inabilities.”

    - Perhaps you mean disabilities?

Re: “His victory was decisive. No democrat has had such a showing in the popular vote since LBJ in 1964. That’s 44 years ago. Even Bill Clinton, everyone’s hero didn’t get 50% of the popular vote. When the people of America give someone 52% of their votes, they’re clearly saying something.”

    - The highest popular vote count in recent memory went to Richard M. Nixon, who got 60% of the vote. In electoral college votes, Nixon beat McGovern 520:17, Reagan beat Carter 489:49, Reagan beat Mondale 525:13, and Bush beat Dukakis 426:111.

Those, my friend, are landslides. So according to your logic, the entire country should have just gotten on board behind these great leaders and never dared question them. Is that what you did? Or are you — as I suspect — not even 18 years old?

And, by the way, I already knew that Clinton won less of the popular vote than President George W. Bush did either time he was elected. You’re only making yourself even more stupid when you describe a villain like Clinton as “everyone’s hero”. Seriously, are you stoned?

Re: “I advise you to pack your bags as quickly as you can before the ‘nigger’ starts his term.”

    - You really love that word, don’t you? Why do you keep calling your idol a “nigger”? You seem quite disturbed.

Re: “Don’t go to Canada though. It’s rather liberal.”

Actually it’s more conservative than America is. The Conservative Party is in power. The Prime Minister is to the right of McCain or Bush. Lunatics and anti-patriots like McKinney, Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, Biden or Obama would never be elected in Canada.

Re: “Try Eastern Europe. They’ll accept a nigger-hater like you with open arms.”

    - First and last warning: Any use of this word [unless you're quoting someone] or any further slanders of entire populations or any other form of bigotry will result in you being banned.

Re: “Hope you have fun elsewhere while Obama takes this country in a new direction!”

    - If you knew history, then you would know that it’s not new.

“I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity, and vexation of spirit.”

  • Hello:
Just discovered this site 6-11-09. I think you should go ahead and write the book, but if you wish to instruct the liberals you should add pictures. Someone needs to do the investigations that the State Media will not do.
My question is why do all the ‘big guns at the banks, car companies etc. fold so easily? I keep waiting for someone to stand up and tell him NO!
He is breaking our Constitution to pieces and the people we elected to represent us are failing to do the job. Governors are being forced to take ‘Stimulus ‘ money, with strings, they don’t want.
Does George Soros really have that much power?

    • Re: “why do all the ‘big guns at the banks, car companies etc. fold so easily? I keep waiting for someone to stand up and tell him NO!”

Because their all looting the treasury while implementing the ancient Luciferian New World Order?

  • I’m willing to do what a lot of the ppl criticizing you didnt. Firstly, as to your facts there is very little proof, your analysis, now thats hilarious! Firstly you did a lot of word play and switched around some of the so called quotes from Obama, for instance- ‘Muslim village’- in the quote Obama says his father lived in village where the ppl were Muslim, not that the village was Muslim, thats you saying that. Secondly what makes Christianity better than any other religion, I would assume that American society is tolerant of all religions and whether or not Barack Obama’s name was Barry Osama bin Laden Obama there shouldn’t be a problem. His father being Muslim shouldn’t be a problem because it only reflects your intolerance as an individual and as a society. American boasts of being free, where is freedom when a man is judged by his name and family background. his father seems like a scoundrel and his mother a Lolita, so what, is that Barack Obama. Who is Barack Obama, learn about the man before you make you make your narrow small minded judgments. Your Article was an attempt to create a sordid image of Barack Obama’s family background which was cheap and unimaginative. You accused Obama of lies but you did not give the truth for instance his alleged birth in Hawaii.
Overall a good read for the simple minded who go off on controversy.

    • It’s difficult to deal with people like you, who are illiterate.

Re: “you did a lot of word play and switched around some of the so called quotes from Obama, for instance- ‘Muslim village’- in the quote Obama says his father lived in village where the ppl were Muslim, not that the village was Muslim, thats you saying that”

By, “He wasn’t just a Muslim because he was from a “Muslim village”,” the point was to counter America’s Last Black President’s insinuation that his alleged grandfather just happened to be a Muslim because he was from a Muslim village or region or tribe. The facts are that his village, region, and tribe are all predominantly Christian, as he was also, and he chose to become a Muslim out of his expressed contempt for Christ.

None of this would have anything to do with the Shady One, who’s not even related to Obama grandpére, but when the Banker’s Boy President tries to twist his alleged family’s bios to suit Rahm ben Zion’s propaganda strategy, then he’ll get torn to pieces by my logic, and he’ll keep his ugly mouth shut after being righteously chastised.

Re: “what makes Christianity better than any other religion”

Christianity is The Way; it is a faith; it is Life. It is not “a religion”. Besides that, to answer yur question, it is not merely “better”, but is the only Way, because Jesus of Nazareth is the Lord and Saviour of all Creation, and the Son of God.

As for the rest of your mediocre scribbling, you have my sympathies.

  • [...] Mark Okoth Obama Ndesandjo, who is America’s last black president’s Jewish brother, who lives in Shenzen with his Chinese family, has just had his “autobiographical” novel, Nairobi to Shenzhen: A Novel of Love in the East, published. I suggest this “novel” might be called Dreams From My Father 2., even if Bill Ayers didn’t actually write it. [...]
