Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada: Upholding Totalitarianism

“Human Rights Commissions, as they are evolving, are an attack on our fundamental freedoms and the basic existence of a democratic society…It is in fact totalitarianism. I find this is very scary stuff.”

- Stephen Harper, BC Report Newsmagazine, January 11, 1999
It’s time to remind this disgraceful tyrant of what he said back when he had balls.

“The Prime Minister appreciates receiving comments. Your views will be carefully considered, and when appropriate your comments may also be forwarded to a minister.”

QUOTE:

Harper’s Human Rights Commission

January 10th, 2008

“Under Stephen Harper’s watch, both the Chief and Deputy Commissioners were appointed. [They are] unelected activist lawyers? … Not exactly a great inspiration for conservatives, is it?

“You would think that since these are appointed positions by the government, Harper would place strong conservatives in these positions - conservatives who would keep a tight leash on the Commission and ensure that Canadians’ right to freedom of expression is protected from fascist encroachments.

“Since their appointments in 2007…things have just gotten worse with the attacks on conservatives intensifying to a frenzied pace.

“So we have to ask Mr. Harper, just what the hell is he doing

“Rumours on the Hill are that Harper has tightened his muzzle once again and put the kaibosh on his MPs from addressing the issue of the Supreme Star Chamber.

“If he has the authority to appoint these Commissioners, he has the authority to dismiss them. He doesn’t need Parliament for that. So what’s it going to be, Steve? Freedom for all or just the Star Chamber few?

You may decide to write in a more civil manner, but when a government claims the right to police citizens’ thoughts, perhaps a bit of outrage is entirely appropriate!

HARPER!

WAKE UP YOU HYPOCRITICAL EMBARRASSMENT!

MILLIONS DIDN’T VOTE CONSERVATIVE JUST TO HAVE THE SAME OLD GLIBERAL CRAP SHOVED DOWN THEIR THROATS!

YOU’RE A FUCKING DISGRACE!
